Victoria Independent School District (VISD) is inviting families, staff, and community members to share their perspectives through the districtโs fourth annual VOICE Survey. The survey will be open from February 9 through February 20 and will help guide district planning and decision-making for the 2026โ27 school year.
VISD recognizes that strong partnerships with families and the community play a vital role in student success. The VOICE Survey provides an opportunity for stakeholders to offer feedback on key areas impacting teaching, learning, and student support, ensuring the district continues to grow and improve in ways that matter most to those it serves.
The VOICE Survey reflects VISDโs ongoing commitment to effective communication and transparency and aligns with the districtโs strategic plan by promoting open dialogue and trust. By collecting feedback through one streamlined platform, the district is able to better understand community priorities while making participation accessible and efficient.
โThis survey is an important way for our families, staff, and community members to directly inform our work,โ said Ashley Alvarez, executive director of communications and public relations for VISD. โWe value this feedback and use it to guide decisions that support student growth, strengthen instruction, and ensure resources are aligned with campus and district needs.โ
Survey questions focus on student success, instructional support, communication, and access to resources. Responses help VISD identify trends and areas of need and play a role in shaping priorities at both the campus and district levels.
Participants will also have the option to express interest in joining a district parent advisory meeting. The next meeting will be held on March 5 at VISD Connections Center, 3002 E. North St., Suite J, Victoria, TX (Next to the tennis courts) at 10:30 am or 5:30 pm. These meetings provide an opportunity for families to engage in conversation with district leaders, share ideas, and collaborate on ways to enhance programs and services.
โWe understand how busy families are, which is why we have worked to keep this survey focused and meaningful,โ Alvarez said. โIf there is one survey to complete this year, this is the one. Every response helps strengthen our district.โ
