Victoria ISD Announces the Return of ADSY Summer Camp "LEVEL UP" for the Third Consecutive Summer

Victoria Independent School District (VISD) is thrilled to announce the return of the "LEVEL UP" academic and enrichment camp as part of the Texas Education Agency's (TEA) Additional Days School Year (ADSY) initiative.

This marks the third consecutive summer that VISD's Office of Strategic Planning and School Improvement will host this enriching program.

The "LEVEL UP" summer camp will be held from May 30th-June 28th., Monday through Friday, offering a comprehensive educational and enrichment experience. Each day will begin with breakfast at 7:45 a.m., followed by instruction and activities from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The camp is designed to provide students with three hours of dedicated reading and math instruction, along with three hours of engaging enrichment activities. These enrichments will focus on various pathways, helping students explore potential interests and future pursuits within the VISD community.

This year, "LEVEL UP" offers nine exciting enrichment options, including Movement Lab, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), board games, arts, and reading and math instruction to reinforce foundational skills. The program is open to all current VISD prekindergarten through fifth-grade students, and there is no cost to parents for participation. Additionally, transportation will be provided for eligible students.

To learn more about the "LEVEL UP" summer camp, please visit www.visd.net/summercamp. Enrollment information will be released in February with the application opening in mid-March. As seating is limited, acceptance into the summer camp will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that only current VISD elementary students are eligible for this exciting opportunity.

Victoria ISD remains committed to providing high-quality educational experiences that inspire and empower students. The "LEVEL UP" summer camp is yet another initiative aimed at fostering growth, exploration, and academic achievement among our young learners.
