Katherine Schuelke, Patti Welder Assistant Principal, will serve as the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Region 3 President for 2020-2021. Serving along side Schuelke will be Kristina Hurley, Aloe Elementary Principal, who will serve as the TEPSA Region 3 President-Elect for 2020-2021.
TEPSA, whose trademark is educational leaders learning with and from each other, has served Texas school leaders since 1917. TEPSA has more than 5,900 members who direct the activities of 3 million Prek-8 grade school children. These school administrators serve with purpose and passion to set and lead the association’s strategic direction and maintain a positive impact on legislators, policy makers, and other stakeholders in order to ensure a quality PK-8 education for all Texas students.
Professional engagement is the hallmark of an instructional leader. We look forward to Kristina and Katherine's contributions to the association over the coming year.
